It’s a rare opportunity, to create a story that brings two fashion icons together, but the Fall 2019 Collection from Burberry, featured by Bergdorf Goodman was just such a moment.
The concept set classic, structured silhouettes in Burberry’s signature, muted palette in an unmistakably British equestrian world. Warm earth-tones, soft edges, rich leather and wood textures juxtaposed with bold styling, hair and makeup to give ready-to-wear staples a modern update.

The artist’s studio, inspired by Carl Eldh. Graceful sculptures keep watch over the setting of an evening wear story. The soft, layered, raw elegance of the space – bathed in natural light, creates a canvas primed for a timeless collection to make a fresh, vital statement. Featuring Naeem Khan, Zimmermann, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Marchesa and J Mendel, the collection, fills the space with bold silhouettes.

Masculine materials, geometric wood shapes and the the cool tones of concrete, contrast and compliment the supple luxury of the accessories collection. These key textures are the foundation of the story, with geometric compositions and cast shadows adding balance and harmony between the surrounding materials and the collection.
