Aeropostale needed a Back to School campaign that would showcase a fresh new fashion direction for the brand, while at the same time tapping into the hopeful vibe of young people everywhere, who were more than ready to reconnect after months of lockdown.

Centered on promoting Aero’s new Free Fit Denim, the campaign “Back to Free” is about freedom of movement, of expression. It delivers on the energy of a lighter, more flexible denim line. But perhaps even more importantly, it speaks to a collective spirit of those ready to get back their youthful freedom, and get back to being themselves. With “Back to Free” Aeropostale captured the optimism of their customers as they stepped out for a very welcome Back to School season.
